Hello and welcome to the page in HelloSproutBaby.com that features where it all started for us. On this page, you will be invited to join with two average moms saving the lives of babies.
We created our company, Hushed Little Babies, 27 years ago. It all started with a unique idea to provide a way for pregnant mothers to bond with their babies in at-risk situations. We thought that if Mommy could “hear” from Baby, she would recognize the treasure she had in her Baby. The idea for a card from Baby to Mommy was born!
A little confused? HelloSproutBaby grew out of Hushed Little Babies as its retail extension—created to offer thoughtful, unique gifts for expectant and experienced parents, while Hushed Little Babies continues its mission of supporting families facing at-risk pregnancies.
Hushed Little Babies refers to the tiny, innocent babies’ voices silenced through abortion.

Working as a team, one mom designed all the beautiful cards, and the other handled the technical end of things. We believed these cards could provide just the perfect nudge to Mommies considering abortions – maybe helping them choose life instead.
When the cards were ready, we placed them in the hands of the few right to life agencies, crisis pregnancy centers, hospitals, doctors and churches in our area. Then we attended a national conference of front-line providers in this field and showed them the cards. They were excited about this new tool to reach the families they served. And they wanted more.
Those front-line warriors loved the idea of giving babies a voice that spoke directly to mommy’s heart. The cards could enable mothers “hear” the messages from the tiny voices.
They agreed that these cards have the potential to
- Deepen the bond with baby
- Potentially save the life of the baby
We believed churches and people of faith, already understanding that all life is sacred, would be willing to stand in the gap for agencies working with at-risk pregnancies, providing these unique cards to them.

The plan is simple. The churches (or individuals or organizations) can purchase the cards at a discount, with free shipping, and then donate them to the agencies in their communities who can get them directly into the hands of women contemplating ending their pregnancies.

The country is a very big place. The two moms who formed this outreach have no way of getting the cards out to agencies in communities far away. We need more hands and feet to distribute these tools to local agencies, which can use them as a low-cost way to secure the safety of tiny, innocent babies.
Therefore, we are reaching out to churches, women’s groups, etc., in communities we will never visit to help in this endeavor. We need you. And the unborn babies need you!
How about adoption as an option?
We acknowledge that it isn’t always going to be true that Mama can keep Baby. Yet, she may not want an abortion. In those cases, adoptions are also tenderly handled with this at-risk group of cards. They were designed specifically for the pregnant Mama facing any separation with baby in her future.
Additionally, all Mamas need to form a deep connection with the Baby they are carrying in order to assure Baby’s safety throughout pregnancy. We have found that giving the Mama our specifically-designed cards as she considers abortion can soften her heart and encourage her to consider adoption.

Pregnancy resource centers, churches, and families dealing with the heart-wrenching decisions involving abortion and adoption have utilized these cards.
The cards were created in the original set of four. They are given at intervals when being pregnant may begin to feel like a burden. A voice from baby may strengthen the mother’s resolve to safeguard baby and see the pregnancy through to possible adoption.
Also, we created a “universal” card for women you may only see once. Even having one small message from her tiny baby may convince her to save her baby. We never know how God will use even one of these cards. (Click here to view cards)
